The tasks, duties and powers of the Council shall be as follows:-

(a) To organize sports competitions of district, region, national and international level from time to time to increase the level of sports. ,

(b) Sending players, council members and staff abroad to participate in sports-related competitions or meetings,

(c) Advising the Government of Nepal on sports-related matters,

p>(d) Providing financial or other support to sports-related organizations or recommending such support to the Government of Nepal,

(e) Conducting sports-related training and competitions in educational institutions and spreading publicity regarding the usefulness of sports. To do,

(f) To encourage the authors or producers of books, pamphlets, slides, films or video films etc. to raise the standard of sports by providing financial or other support,

(g) To encourage Constructing stadiums and sports fields throughout Nepal as necessary for progressive development, and protecting and maintaining them. >(i) To give necessary instructions to sports related organizations from time to time,

(j) To arrange for training from domestic and foreign coaches as needed to improve the level of players and to select suitable players and send them to foreign countries for training as needed,< /p>

However, the council must take the prior approval of the Nepal government when bringing in foreign coaches. (l) Making necessary arrangements to protect the health of athletes,

(d) Making arrangements for conducting training and competitions for the development of sports for those with physical and mental disabilities due to various reasons and, as necessary, spreading the word about the importance of such sports To make,
